Everything I love in a song - beautiful music and clear vocal - going to search out more by this group. Nice!

Don't let Greg Gilbert's beautiful falsetto keep you from noticing Colin Fox's wonderfully understated drumming.

what for heaven´s sake did Stephin Merritt do to stay forever on the "things that never will be played on radio paradise"-list?
am i the only one who thinks TMF one of the best bands (or, better. projects) ever?

I'm living in a bubble when a band like this has been around for 5 years and I haven't heard them before. Thanks for introducing them to me - you've done it again Bill!

I'm with you! What an amazing range that guy has, and how often do you hear steel drums in pop/rock music? These guys deserve more airplay. |

LOL .. you know.. that's the first thing I thought when I heard it.. but thought that lead voice maybe not so.. perhaps background.. sure enough.. RP provides.. the links take me to the AMG site, see "Delays" and I'm like.. there's no girl there.. hmmm perhaps assisted by E.F.? .. but can't find that.. however did find they list the Cocteau Twins as an influence. LOL |

No women on the personnel roster for The Delays: * Greg Gilbert: lead vocals, guitar * Aaron Gilbert: keyboards, vocals * Colin Fox: bass guitar, vocals * Rowly: drums and percussion Nice sounding band but it would be easier for me to digest if it was a female lead vocalist...not a big fan of castratos in my alt / indie rock |

welcome to the master of sets. Listen long enough and you will come to appreciate how Bill not only mixes tracks but also sets with each other, sort of like adding another level to the art of DJ-ing |

GREAT SET
I never knew Bill recycled playlists, because that is exactly what is playing/just played right now. Not that I have a problem with it as long as they are far enough apart (and I think over a year counts).
Oh yeah, and good song. |
