Aimee Mann really can't do much wrong in my book. I still remember her starting out with Til Tuesday.

I can't stand Aimee Mann or Bob Dylan.  I feel bad, I know I should love them but I reach for the tuner when they come on.  I'd be happy with just about any other band/singer covering their songs...

This is awful to my ears..

Atrocious. If this is considered talent, then I suppose I should have a record contract in about an hour. I assume that by proper ambience you mean gouging your eardrums out with a rusty nail...?

Let's hear some of your music then and we'll see about that record deal.

Affective lyrics and music that rivets one to reality is not a bummer.  Why do too many only like the vacuous stuff that never challenges and only helps us to stick are heads in the proverbial sand.

Requires of the proper ambiance to be enjoyed fully ... it does sound emotion-less at times ... maybe she was suffering of scenic fear at the time ... oh well, what the heck do I know about performing anyway! {#Devil_pimp}

Same here, which makes the tune sound so dated to me. It belongs to a moment in time which is gone. And there's that weird solo in the middle where they start by playing the Carpenters' "Superstar" melody and then veer off. What?
