Aimee Mann really can't do much wrong in my book. I still remember her starting out with Til Tuesday.

I feel bad, I know I should love them but I reach for the tuner when they come on. I'd be happy with just about any other band/singer covering their songs... This is awful to my ears.. |

Affective lyrics and music that rivets one to reality is not a bummer. Why do too many only like the vacuous stuff that never challenges and only helps us to stick are heads in the proverbial sand. |

Requires of the proper ambiance to be enjoyed fully ... it does sound emotion-less at times ... maybe she was suffering of scenic fear at the time ... oh well, what the heck do I know about performing anyway! |

Same here, which makes the tune sound so dated to me. It belongs to a moment in time which is gone. And there's that weird solo in the middle where they start by playing the Carpenters' "Superstar" melody and then veer off. What? |
