Released in the early 90's. By the way, what is the exact definition of overproduced anyways? And why is everything that has layers of sound have to be labeled as such? Thanks in advance for you pearls of wisdom. :) |

YAY!!! Kitchens of Distinction has finally hit RP. Why didn't I think to upload them?! Great cut from a great album. And there is more of this good stuff where this cut came from. Hope to hear them more.

If anything, PLACEBO's got a Kitchen's thing going. Except the Kitchens are far better. |

whoah! never thought i'd hear these guys again. actually, i sort of don't hear them quite right. i lost part of the hearing in my right ear because of this band. i saw them in boston when they opened up for the breeders way back when. sounds surprising but they're one of the loudest bands i've ever heard. the irony is i didn't even really like them.

Saw them open for Suzanne Vega in New Orleans in a small auditorium. Amazing sound for three guys.
Many fine songs for RP use.

A gay band? No big whoop, they just made some great music. Truely a "Wall of Sound".

No - maybe because they sound like all the other 80s shit bands. |
