ah, I was in college in Santa Barbara when this came out in 1990 leading quite a lovely, rather naive, charmed life. Amazing to hear it 23 years!?  later with a bit of experience. ;)

Airy, aimless,... what is so terrible about that

There's a little girl inside the 190 lb body of a 40-year-old man that adores this song.

One of the finest symphonies of strings, powerful, sultry, mercurial vocals, impeccable stylings, and sweet solid production, ever. And this will forever be that little souvenir of the year I first heard this, just back from Japan the first time, just back to ski-bum in Summit County the second, and...by no means did the story end, and I love how it still doesn't...Thanks, RP for playing this!

I love Harriet's beautiful voice. This is a very pretty song from a truly wondrous album.

So good to hear this again on RP. First heard it here several years ago and have loved it ever since.

She got married and had some kids, good for her. Hopefully she won't do a Kate Bush and inflict a horrible album on us years from now.

is the rest of this album this good?

I consider this CD one of the most under-rated ever.  It's one of my favorites.  This song is the best of course.  I don't know why this never got a lot of recognition.  Wonderful CD, every track.  Totally original.  I think the Innocence Mission owes a lot to the Sundays.

Have always loved this song. But 1990? God, I'm getting old.

One of my very favorite albums of the 90's. Unfortunately they were shortlived.
