This song does not make me want to bother checking out their other songs. Is this supposed to be a good song by them? BLEH

Looks to me (at least by the dates on the comments) that this song gets airplay on RP about once a year. Would love to hear it much more often.

But that's one thing that makes it so good — it's not overplayed.

Sounds a bit "Stone Roses-ey" to me, but I dig it.

Yet another obscure band I've never heard of before RP, that I may need to check out.  I've LOVED everything I've heard so far on this album.  Hell, I think I'd buy just for the CD cover alone!

I agree. I didn't discover them until they'd broken up already but have greatly enjoyed both those albums since. I also love "Little Muscle" from one of the later albums.

Now this here is one of the very few that truly baffles me, from all the great selection at RP. I saw this band live at CU many years ago, opening for Belly. Didn't like it or get it then, and still feel pretty much the same. Just noise and dispirited singing, to my ears.

Thats what I thought my first couple listens!. CW songs grow on you more than any other band I think.  Maybe that's why theyre such a cult band.

"Judy Staring At The Sun" is the best Catherine Wheel track I've heard, and it was made better because of Tanya's voice.

I really miss Belly.

CW songs should not be rated until after a few listens.
