This song just gave me indigestion.

I logged in to give it a 1. But I already did that. Can I give a song a negative rating?

There's a great version of the Underdog Theme by the Butthole Surfers on the "Saturday Morning's Greatest Hits" CD.

(Although the killer track on that CD — and worth the price of the entire CD — is the Ramones covering the 60's Spider-Man cartoon theme)

By which I don't mean to say Mozart wasn't great and all - but it's just poppy compared to this.

Are you being serious?
This is a nice tune, but I'm not remotely convinced that it is sufficient to ensure that Phillip Glass will be a household name in 300 years.

Normally I'd say I have heard all the PG I ever want to hear, but I actually like this.

Bill, I admire you greatly for putting this on the playlist. Glass is a ground-breaker. But there can be too much of a good thing, and I personally hope you do not play this too often!

Break the Glass. If you want to go some place else then why not Ginestera. Stimulating as oppossed to shallow and annoying. Please.

It was very interesting, especially to learn that McNamara was pretty much—in Washington circles—an unknown, arbitrary pick by the Kennedy administration. It's too bad he didn't remain at Ford or some other large corporation, as it's abundantly clear in hindsight that McNamara had NO business accepting such a role in the administration.

As for Philip Glass, the PBS documentary about him was mildly interesting.

Oh yeah, it's a hoot, especially the part with the self sacraficing protester at the pentagon.

Just a little too narrative for me.
But exciting.

This make me think of Dexter.  In the books he is a fan of Glass - much better at depicting lack of human emotional connection than his TV taste for marching band music.

He likes what he likes.  Which does include hunting and killing the deserving.

Love the strings at the end! Reminds me of the soundtrack to "There Will Be Blood."
