I seriously doubt that the members of Pink Floyd ever visited anyone on the dark side of the moon either. |

Interesting, busy little ditty. It's like a colony of sounds at work. I like it.

Quite a feat when you think of it. Beer cans haven't been made of anything but rust proof aluminum for several decades. |

Authenticity is for people, not song and album titles. I love to drive around the suburbs listening to Beth. And we definitely pass by trailer parks. We be Living in my Single-Wide out behind the Cracker Barrel in Smyrna, Tennessee. When she can't sing so good no more we can still cook up a batch of Crank. |

Wow, cool. Never heard this track before. Here in LA—Beck played with her (I think they did a tongue in cheek duet from Grease of all things). So it was great to hear something from her.

Dear Santa,
I only want one thing for Christmas, and that thing is for Beth Orton to learn the appropriate use of the letter "H" in her vocal diction.
Thank you, Agnes

Can't sing?! Can't stand her voice?! OMG, I LOVE her voice. I want to have her babies! ....erm, oh, wait, nevermind, I'm a guy, so I got that all backwards. But you know what I mean!!1!!1 (/giddy squealing off)
And hey, I like Bob Dylan a lot too, so clearly I'm flexible about the voice thing, though I really do like her voice.

Beth is cool, saw her in Minneapolis for like $2.00 the year this cd came out. What was it, 95? 96? Was in town for OSU-Minn football and Primus at First Ave, but my buddy failed to pick up Primus tix ahead of time. The line for Primus stretched around the block. We wandered down the street, and found Beth at a club. After that, we had rusty cans of Bud at the Saluki Bar. Outstanding!
