Thanks so much for playing this. It's one of my favourite movies and listening to this takes me to a good place. I can just see the windswept beach in my mind right now.

Wow! Never heard this outside the movie. Thanks for slamming me back into the movie at 6:12 in the morning. This is going to stay with me all day.

Man, Bill  Rebecca's selections on RP are perfect for me today after a late night of showing the world what an asshole I really am.. sigh.

I noticed that this is simply called 'Theme' on my version of the CD. Must be why the links to Amazon/iTunes here aren't working.

Great song, thought I'd add that in case anyone goes looking for a version.

Just beautifully suited to the movie - I can hear Jim and Kate's wistful voice-over...

This is really nice. I didn't recognise that it's from one of my all-time favorite movies.
Need to watch that again soon.
Such a good movie!

Jon Brion is one of the most talented musicians around. If you ever have the chance to see his live show, check him out! It's like watching a death defying trapeze artist perform without a net. He brings no set list and every performance is unique (search for some of his performances on youtube to get an idea of what it's like). I used to see him perform often at Largo in Los Angeles and have some of my best music memories there!

I think I'm too left-brain for it. I can respect Gondry's craft (and I've enjoyed some of his other stuff), but I think I just didn't get ESotSM.

This song is ok, but...

I really love his solo album.
He also played most every instrument on Aimee Mann's first 3 or 4 solo discs (they once dated I think), I first heard of him in The Grays, and he's produced lots of stuff too.

Also a must see when in Hollywierd, at Largo any Friday night.
