That whispery singing style is nothing new - it's certainly older than condenser microphones. Think Billie Holiday, Julie London, or Peggy Lee, among others. Every song does not need to be belted out as if sung by Ethel Merman. |

THAT'S where I've heard her! I'm really glad they used Torrini instead of Bjork - I suspect Bjork would have lent too much power to what should be a tender, tragic song. |
