Wow, nice follow up to 'The Who - Behind Blue Eyes' Bill!
Formula used today too.

You don't think endlessly repeating the word ''today'' is sophisticated? |

I don't care what the rating or consensus is for this song, those two lines should provoke emotion in all but the emotionally numb.
I like this. |

One of my favorite albums of 2005. Worth listening to. I think when I first heard "Dakota" I must have sat there hitting rewind and listening to it 4-5 times in a row! Good stuff. "Superman", "Lolita" and especially "Devil" are my other faves.

Stereophonics have done so much better than this - a bit of a drone really compared with their more melodic earlier material.
Shame - such a good band.
Thanks for the warning Daedalus. I have liked this group before, thinking they were firmly fixed in the "electronica" genre (which is why I liked them) - but this song definitely isn't electronica (nor melodic). This is, unfortunately, the first "1" that I ever felt compelled to use. |

Wow, this is a nice surprise to me. This has a very layered sound for the Sterophonics but then I've only have heard Just Enough Education To Perform which a pretty straightaway rock album.
