I definitely see your point re. jazz, but for me one of the best things about live music/comedy IS the improvisation. I also love it when you see it (as seems to happen more often these days) on TV comedies. I would draw the line, however, at student improv theatre, which is unacceptable on all levels. |

I know what you mean, but some expressions can be much improved by being improvised than they could be if they were fastidiously planned out - such as sex. |
