Hate for scientology is NOT religious bigotry. This is a group that will prevent you from talking to your friends or family if they disagree with the "religion." The fact that they have a tax free status after pulling crap like Operation Snow White sickens me.

It's Vancouver. Sorry. We tried to warn you, but you insisted... |

The difference is the controversy about the nature and history of Scientology. Admittedly, most religions have their cult-like aspects, but Scientology has had some unique issues. Read up on it and you'll probably see the same distinctions. |

I used to think that Odelay was issued to everyone that moved to the suburbs, like that tiny carton of Tide in the mail.
I don't have anything else to add. Hell, I'm not even ranking this song. I'm that apathetic about Beck.

Erm? I wouldn't use this kind of flavorful language to describe even my most loathed artists.
Beck at the very least shows his musical diversity and wears his fruitloop personality on his sleeve.
Out of curiosity, did you not like his more minimalist arrangements for his album Sea Change either? I'm just taking a stab to see if an accoustic based album would be less grating as it seems you're not fond of certain electronically propelled efforts.
And I don't know if it's totally fair to compare him to Moby. Moby peaked with his album Play and has been loosing most of his won fans ever since. Beck is still a slow steady build of steam in popularity.
You know what they say, if you're in the minority, be prepared to support your views with a lot more thought and detail than the majority.
Just some thoughts.

I knew Beck was amazing. Still, startling and impressive how well he holds up against the Beatles, which is playing now (Hey Bulldog, from Yellow Submarine).
LOVIN' BECK. 9 for the entirety of Guero!
