Part of the reason I moved from Santa Barbara, CA to the left bank of the Caloosahatchee.
That tidbit sounded so hard to believe that I didn't believe it and checked a map. The southern-most point in California is indeed north of the northern-most point in Florida, but by a very small distance, nowhere near 500 miles. And California beaches go all the way to the Mexican border and I believe that Florida has beaches all the way to the Georgia border and certainly along the Panhandle on the Gulf. As far as I'm concerned there's only one good reason not to want to live in Santa Barbara and it's not the weather! Actually, to be precise there's NO good reason not to WANT to live there. Affording it is another thing altogether. |

Mondegreens aside, this is a nice song. 6 from the Nottingham jury, initially.
I believe a farm is being sold here, but I love the comment anyway |

This recording—which must have been encoded at some miserable bit rate—ruins a pretty good song. |

"California, where it's warm."? I've been there five times, and I LOVE it, but I have damned near frozen my buns off several times. Once was about as cold as I've ever been in my life. And this was on the beach between L.A and San Diego.....
