I really like the vocals, the overall composition, the theme. Best song I've heard on RP for a long while. Where have I been?

I forgot that this is a pretty good song. How apt to hear some Garbage on here again what with the new album around the corner. Definitely thrilled about the end of their hiatus.

The melody reminds me a bit of U2's The First Time... I like it.

I find the lyrics pretty spot on. I'm an 'old' and I remember feeling like this. So. Let's not dismiss the starvers, the cutters, the posers. With luck we find our way out eventually.

You've got to be kidding? I'm guessing your poetry/lyrical offerings would truly be on the "junior high" level. |

I don't agree. It's a very good song but far from the best from this album. Run Baby Run, It's All Over But the Crying and Happy Home are all great. In fact, I think Happy Home is so good it can contend for Garbage's all-time Top 5 or Top 10. |

Heartwrenching lyrics:
"Doodle takes Dad's scissors to her skin And when she does relief comes setting in While she hides the scars she's making underneath her pretty clothes She sings: Hey baby can you bleed like me? C'mon baby can you bleed like me"

Shirley RAWKS!!!
I can't remember where I heard this story, maybe from the source:
Garbage was doing a photo shoot for the cover of Spin (several yrs ago) and just as they were snapping, she peed on the floor. They photoshopped it out. |
