It took me awhile to really start liking Eels. My appreciation for this guy increased exponentially after watching a documentary type film about the singer that included some life stories and upbringings on PBS. I remember when Karen and Richard had the same problems with folks calling their band "THE Carpenters" when they kept insisting it was just "Carpenters." It's the music biz. The "The" is gonna get added.
