It's a question of the band, Nickel Creek, and their influences. My comment meant that the primary influence for Nickel Creek comes from American Bluegrass not from anything directly Celtic. Check them out, in no self description of the band or its music will you find them saying that they drew on Celtic music. Just sayin' yo. . . |

I'd never heard them until Coyote FM (the local "innovative" radio station that caved in to the boring classic rock format) played them when they first released this CD. I used to listen to this while I was watering plants at the nursery and watching the sun rise. Beautiful images - great song.  |
