Saw Madeleine earlier this year in NYC. She opened up for Judy Collins. Thought Madeleine was the headliner of the show. She only played about a 40 minute set, and we left after she was done. She was wonderful to see live. Looking forward to seeing her again in the future, hopefully as the headliner of a concert so it's longer. Love her music.

Who is Billy Holiday? Billie Holiday's brother?

Nice soft voice... Southern women can express more with their voice and eyes than most women can with 14 tonnes of words ... And Smart men listen to what was said, meant and left out...

Here french stuff is far better. I saw her in concert once but she was not comfortable on stage, probably because she was in montreal and she couldn't speak french that well.

Laptopdog wrote:"touch me with your naked hand..." Tell me she did NOT just say that! I am shocked at such perverse filth here on Radio Paradise! She was just singing Leonard Cohen's words. What does that make HIM in yer eyes? Haha, just sayin'... |

Fell in love with this song on the Strange Days soundtrack. The artist listed on Wikipedia is Kate Gibson, but they have no additional information on her.

Exactly. It's not a bad album cover anyhow - rather nice. |

Yum. I love this style of music. Really makes me wish I could play the upright bass or play piano. There are few things better to me then a smokey and sexy voice with a good lounge jazz backup. As for your parents, they are still alive in your memories... Just picture them dancing along with the music and let yourself be lost in the music and imagery, with that they will always be with you. |
