High school seniors think this is witty. Everyone else is tired of the faux-populist-contrarian tone.

Perhaps it is only accessible to non-genius types! *S*

Bingo! Thank you for saving me the effort of looking this up again. And I doubt this is Baz's voice since he's an Aussie.

I liked it a lot. I like the relaxing trippy backgound music and the comedic tone. Plus a lot of the points rang true for me, but I'm a bit of a sentimentalist, I suppose.

No doubt, it cranked 58 ratings to settle at a 4 in just the short time it was on. Flame On!

This was NOT a commencement speech. That's an urban myth. It was based upon an editorial that was a faux commencement speech and it can be found in the book, aptly titled Wear Sunscreen by Mary Schmich (yes, real name).
Trite, but definitely better read than sung.
But, wow! Look at how many comments this silly song generated in such a short time. For however good or bad it is, it definitely strikes some emotional chord somewhere.

Ooops....thanks for the correction! The narration reminded me of Shatner, only I like Shatner better. Nothing really wrong with the message (and that makes sense, given how I love Baz!)

Not good. I could really do without the Whitney Houston type singing too.

OK, the 'Transformed Man' by Shatner was one thing, but this needs to stop now.

such amazing advise in this song..... i've always loved this song. The man who did the vocals is doing commercials now. As far as Baz goes, *whew!* yummy...

Psychobabble? Good advice? Who knows, but it's downtempo, and it's cute. Much better than most real commencement speeches I have heard. I like it.

Now that's eclectic. Hmm.

I remember this from a while ago, but I have to admit, the lyrics and meaning contained within is actually very "thought-provoking".

For the lyrical content alone, I gave it a 5

I didn't realize this was done by the director of Moulin Rouge and all that... how strange. I remember this song from a few years ago. It's pretty funny I guess. Some good advice, anyway!
