Ahhh yes. Thought this sounded like Depressed Mode. Haven't heard them in a while. Just never warmed to them. Popular here in Utah where Prozac use is one of highest in the nation.

I don't know... this song came out right after I got divorced from my son's mother, and I always thought it a very thoughful and hearfelt letter to a child from a recently-divorced parent...

For 2005 DM, this is pretty good.

That's cool—unless it is an underage ferret....

I personally think the distorted guitar chords are a nice addition to the keyboard heavy band. Have always thought so.

Hmm, perhaps that's why I feel the same way when I see a good friend ferreting a mole?

1) So, is the ferret on synth?

2) With friends like this, who needs the internet.

3) Than the ferret says, "close the door idiot! I don't want the gerbil next door to get jealous."

4) To which I exclaim, "congratulations! You're now an official brother of Sigma Delta Tau."

5) Suddenly irate, I yell, "Is this your way of telling me I'm lousy in bed?"

...And the list goes on. Keep it going folks!

I agree - still...

..."DM" is less a band than it is "MARTIN GORE", who,
by the way - learned to play a pretty good guitar over the years!

"Playing the Angel, released on 17 October 2005, is the eleventh full-length album by Depeche Mode. It was supported by the Touring the Angel tour." - per our Wiki friends.

I had to look.  I would have guessed 80's as well.
