Not nearly as unusual as a song about Canajoharie, but They Might Be Giants pulled through on that. Doughty's probably talking about the prison though, I think he wrote this shortly after he kicked his heroin problem. |

When I first heard this from the other room, I almost thought this was his amazing, BUSTING UP A STARBUCKS, and what a hoot that tune is! And I agree, let's hear more of this wry wordsmith!

Like the music, but if it wasn't there this guys voice would be so deadpan. Still, mostly works together. |

Mike:
When we commissioned you to write a jingle for use in our upcoming "Why not see Ossining?" TV/radio/new media promotional campaign—well, not to put too fine a point on it, this wasn't quite what we had in mind.

Something about his voice ... totally works for me ... driving beat without the Bryan Adams rhyming couplets or the Chad Kruger (we Canadians have a monopoly on the Rhyming couplet rock thing)
I like it
he sounds flat at first then you realize it works
very cool sound

i have an idea. why dont we blast this song 24 hours a day to the residents of sing sing. that really would be cruel and unusual punishment.
