Hmmm....Nothing wrong with your opinion. You are entitled and you are free to share. That's what makes this forum great. I've had my share of comments about artists and tunes that were NOT popular to dislike...so welcome mirland and hope you can share your opinions about the music you like as well.

I'd never considered its fish-repairing qualities before, but I think I like it even more now I know.

One of the best albums of the 90's, beginning to end.

Great tune. Sentimental and sweet.

Cool!  A month has gone by and here is this gem again, reminding me how solid it is...and how it used to rivet me to the spot — and still does!

Is it really possible that this is already over 21 years old?  What a line-up they had on this record and tour, and what an incredible show they gave at CU late summer/ early fall of '91! and whoah, what a fantastic collection of excellent songs on this record...MAGIC!  I still often put it on and let it play through and again...there is something both melancholy and intensely joyful about the whole effect...

I do not know the versions discussed here, but this song by the Crowded House is included in my life's soundtrack, a beautiful song...

Yes I've always felt this wonderful song is slightly let down by the production here. Would have loved to hear what Youth could have done with it - much preferred his style on 'Together Alone' to that of Mitch Froom on the earlier albums.

Not bad, but the Jesse Cook version with Chris Church on vocals has much more passion, sounds much less mechanical. I'd pick it over this any day.

Jennifer Kimball's version is terrific. It's actually where I first heard this song!

Nice metaphor, but I would use it with something else.  This song is great.
