Fred - not every song can be three minutes of driving blind at a hundred mph.  Just close your eyes and sleep to this if it makes you feel better (naps are our friend!)  Personally, The Innocence Mission is perfect for me on days like today, when it's hot and muggy and overcast and I don't have to work. I'll take a "doldrum" over a "bounce-off-the-walls-until-you-die," any day...{#Daisy}

When I need some mellow, this is the most perfect song... I love Innocence Mission. So dreamy, ethereal and perfect.{#Sunny}

Lovely voice! Interesting to note the relaxed music radio paradise plays during US night time.... you can hear when the US wakes up and the music changes :)

Definitely. Can't listen to her every day, but the voice touches me deep inside.

I may have said this before, but Karen Peris and The Innocence Mission have been around much longer than the Sundays. And to another comment about hypnotic-trippy-spacey music, Karen and Don are devout Catholics and serious musicians, and although their music is indeed hypnotic, I don't think 'trippy' is their muse!

The first few notes remind me of something by Hugo Largo.

I would have sworn it was the singer from the Sundays, but apparently not. Separated at birth, maybe?

I'm liking this song. Nice and dreamy. {#Good-vibes} I really ought to look more into The Innocence Mission. I always have liked "Bright As Yellow"...
