Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets / Celestial Voices. Pink Floyd - Echoes Red Hot Chili Peppers - Sir Psycho Sexy (outro). This one fits well, so: Supergrass - Run
Spirit - Soldier from 12 Dreams Todd Rundgren - Just One Victory from A Wizard A True Star |

This was such a terrific band—inventiveness, humor, master craftsmanship, the whole magilla. One hopes that Gaz Coombes emerges from Supergrass like Albarn did from blur, with a sustained burst of creativity, novel exploration, music to confound and delight us all.

There's a Sesame Street song trying to break out of this.
One two three four five, six seven eight nine ten, eleven twelve!

I like this track, but it reminds me of the Beatles. That's not a bad thing, though... Mostly, a bit of Lennon's "#9 Dream" with a touch of Bowie's "Space Oddity." Okay - I need more alcohol. Or maybe less manual dexterity and a keyboard that doesn't work (thank you, party who shall remain nameless, for unselfishly sending me the most awesome keyboard evah! Oh, what the heck. Thanks, monkeysdad. You rock.) |

Well, I love it.
I think they borrow as much from T-Rex as the Beatles.

Funny, they sound like Jellyfish to me. Of course, Jellyfish drew heavily on the Beatles too, but who doesn't? |

It's like "how much more Floyd could this be?" and the answer is "none - none more Floyd".
