I don't think that is a sample of Marshall Applewhite, but I believe the child's voice at the beginning is that of Nick Sagan, who recorded an audio message for NASA's Golden Voyager record. This doesn't sound especially like Porcupine Tree to me. Plenty of bands made laid-back, almost ambient tunes like this long before PT existed. |
