LOVE this song, Lyle & his large band do an awesome job of this live. His back up singer rocks.

This CD was my intro to LL as well - I love this CD. Some very clever and throught provoking lyrics. This track is just plain fun. |

Saw him with his big band a few years back. At the concert he added some extra string players. He is a good performer and he spends time introducing songs and sharing a little of his humour. And the performances have lots of space where he and the band get to show their stuff. Glad this is in the RP rotation.

Try the sound of silence. no. not the song. . .turn off the stream so we no longer have to learn you dislike a song. Most folks take for granted you will hate whatever song is being played. . . so, one wonders. . . much like PG before you. . . . Just why the he11 do you listen to Bill's selections anyway? (sorry to feed the troll. . . it was my turn, but I refuse to clean the cage, Mucking is for others to do) |

Sure is. I love the noir of some tracks and the coy, back-handed jubilation of others (including this selection). The minimalistic "She's Already Made Up Her Mind" is one of the coldest, most heartbreaking songs I've heard.
