The song gets a few points just because my name is Jaclyn (nickname Jack) Smith. And yes, I was named after the Charlie's Angel Jaclyn Smith. What can I say, it was the 70s.

I'm in agreement on the voice -- sorta -- and those lyrics!

Life is hard and then you die;
Love is hard and then you cry.

Can he be serious with this stuff? Sheesh.

Like the voice although it is marginally out of key at times. I think I'll stick to the real thing ie. LC

I suppose if one were in the right mood, this song might work. I'm apparently not in that mood. Like other songs using the Leonard Cohen song formula, this song would be useful only as a sleep aid to me. The soloing is OK, though.

I was kind of liking this at first but now it's starting to drag on too long. Reminds me of Natural Born Killers. I believe the soundtrack had a song by Leonard Cohen on it.

This was the definition of Ho-Hum until that great guitar solo.
