Just an FYI: Deep in the backing vocals — especially with the headphones at 11 — you can hear her say, "Do you get the gist of the song now?"
You know, not that I would do that over and over and over and over until I heard it. No, of course not.

That's her brother reading his poetry, btw. I think the blend works perfectly. Best to listen to this song in your car at 2am.
It's an improvement on her original version, and that was pretty damn good. This cranks the sexiness up a big notch. Poe, you can predate on me any time :o). 9 from the smitten Nottingham jury. |

Close call. I liked this song - but now I see how stupid I was not to have recognized what your genius so instantly spotted. I can only hope that one day I will have the ability to form my opinions on my own. Oh, blessed day, In the meantime, all I can say is 'Thanks, Copymonkey! You saved my ass'. |

1) This is a great album, but get rid of that damned spoken word thing. 2) He's a great writer, but get rid of that damned distracting musical background - just go read " House of Leaves" and get your mind blown. |

Only William Shatner can get away with speaking a song.
What, no Johnny Cash? There are probably others I'm also forgetting. Rex Harrison maybe? |
