Too lazy to see if this is a repeat, but this is my favorite collaboration of many such ones at the time.

Neat bass line by either Dan Dugmore or Glen Worf—both great stylists.

Page / Plant is good, but this is great... Plant can't hold a candle to Knopfler, while Krause is a wee bit better than Harris. I'd like to hear Knopfler/Krause get together. |

Emmylou and Knopfler ... like a great meal in Rome, or great cannabis in Amsterdam, hard to go wrong. 8

I have "All the Roadrunning" in my player currently - just finished listening to "Beachcombing" for the fifth time, and I can't wait to hear "This Is Us." I LOVE this CD.

Great tune, great mood... great artists. Regarding voices, it's another story... but this deserves a big 8.

I was sorry I missed these two when they came through town. I bet that was a cool show.

Yes, sorry, I must have been in a bad mood when I wrote my original comment, as this song has grown on me somewhat. And no, it's not C&W, but deffo country, though at least there's no blasted steel-guitar-in-the-lap twanging or lachrymose melodrama. 7 from the repentant Nottingham jury, though it is still a little on the cheesy side... |

Pleasant. This is the amount of Mark Knopler's voice I like. It's perfect the way it's used when he's supporting another vocalist. Great stuff.

I wouldn't really describe this as Country & Western, first of all. And second, it's hardly saccharine. It's entirely bittersweet. "Feeling better than we did last night" is hardly the peak of joy.

Great...
Saw them at the Ahoy in the Netherlands during the tour... I must be honest, Emmylou's singing isn't always in key but her voice is one of a kind...
This is one of my favourite tracks of this album...

I suppose angels sound like whatever you want them to sound like. My angels do not sound like Emmylou. |
