Unhurried and with good harmonies. I like it! "...I love you yeah, yeah...!"

I know I could look it up, but what's new with these guys. I really liked their breakthrough LP.

This flower's scorched, this film is on... As others have pointed out, it's basically Country Feedback reloaded. Still pleasant enough. Also quite interesting how almost everyone hears another artist in this - apparently you can't blame The Vines for having a too original style |

Not a bad thing - sounds a lot like The Dandy Warhols.

"Two weeks in a Virginia jail, for my lover, for my lover...." Sounds like Tracy Chapman to me.

I thought they sounded like Turin Brakes, but not as good...

Something in the background of this song sounds like the sound effects when Steve Austin was running.

And yes I loved their breakthrough record -dared to say it was Nirvan-like with more of Nirvana's Beatles-like melody and less of Nirvana's- Pixies like frenzy |

My favorite song of the record and the reason I bought it. Had it in my iPod last summer on a trip thru Paris and this song always reminds me...
I was surprised to find out that the rest of the album doesn't sound like this at all. More 80's Brit-pop than stuff I usually listen to, but a good record all the same.

I came here to make a comment that this sounded like Country Feedback... but it looks like 498 people beat me to it. At least I'm not hearing things...

the song did seem familiar instantly, as if they had lifted the idiom of another chord change from something in my long past... but at the same time, it touched a part of me that did just want to sway and be enfolded in the arms of their warm touch...
it was beautiful, but i feel i shall suck the power out of this song by repetitive play much too quickly and will try to limit myself to 3 times in a night.... hate it when the musik i love loses its power to move me...
huggles,
saba
