During High School, I hated AC/DC. I thought it was too simple. I was all about The Who, with a healthy dose of Led Zep thrown in.
Now that I'm older, I've come to appreciate AC/DC, and enjoy it.

actually my favorite AC/DC tune
and I have always heard the same crap about AC/DC ~ 'easy to play blah blah blah'
yeah but even if you played it lol better than perfect you would still not be AC/DC ~
funny how no one says that trite crap about the early beatles ~ guess people know that would sound stupid

I agree with you about the Bon Scott era. Phil Rudd is like Ringo —- sounds easy until you try to get it to sound like that. There are people who will tell you that he's the best rock drummer playing. For sure AC/DC was never the same without him. |

a baton Rouge radio dj got a call from a guy asking for Rod Stewart singing Shook Me....he told the poor fellow he was way off and played this...this is a fine tune, but the guy who called was right...in the early stages of The New Yardbirds, Page got Rod Stewart to sing on some demo and that version of what became the Zep tune Shook Me was one of those on it, and a radioshow called Flashback played it on a N.O. station (I think Westwood One actually did the show)and the kid had heard it there most likely.
That said.. Rock On
