Hypnotizing guitar motif with all that echo and 'atmosphere.'  REALLY like this ... warm summer evening, Pinot in hand, on the balcony with a light rain between the skyline and my retinas.

One of the coolest progressions ever, and with the perfect variations on all the repeat possibilities; addictively hypnotic...cynical lyrics...

Only problem with this song is that the guitar solo should be about half an hour longer... 10!

The whole album is stellar too, btw.

I know nothing about this band or their personnel, but this lacks the cliched Santana licks. I see the similarities, but that's all.

I grew tired of Santana's work years ago - it doesn't seem to evolve from the tried & true formula that he established in the 1970's. At least Vini Reilly experiments with a great variety of sounds and themes regardless of whether they are popularly accepted.

Smooth sounds, sharp politically-conscious and satirical lyrics. Durutti Column are surely the coolest anarchists on the musical block. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

Pretty solid set going this afternoon. I keep trying to get away from my desk. Play more Durutti please. Anything I've heard I've liked.
