The Star Wars sounds just ruin it for me. And what's with the god-awful drum machine? Strip all the crap away and you'd have a very nice song.

Pink Floyd's "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict" came to mind first, but a web search turned this up: "The Sad But True Story Of Ray Mingus, The Lumberjack Of Bulk Rock City, And His Never Slacking Stribe In Exploiting The So Far Undiscovered Areas Of The Intention To Bodily Intercourse From The Opposite Species Of His Kind, During Intake Of All The Mental Condition That Could Be Derived From Fermentation", by a Swedish band called Rednex. |

I resisted the urge to buy her new one, but since I did, I have plyed it over and over. Great album!

Right song at the right place during the right time.....one of my favorite tunes of recent history.
Jenny Lewis has one of those voices I can really enjoy.
I do agree that the end is somewhat cheesy and they go overboard with the bizarre strobe/laser-esque sound.

Good song. But then it sounds like she just decided to end things and neglected to write a proper ending. Average at best in my opinion.

9. I'm not a huge Rilo fan, but I'm in love with this one. Perfect melding of voice, tune, lyrics. One of my more favorite songs from the past couple of years.

What a great title to the song...! I give the song a 6 (harmonies would suggest an 8, but otherwise it's a bit plain), but a 9 to the title!
