By stating that Jose is like Elliot, I simply meant that his music, guitar and voice alone, has created a strong mood. Elliot did that so well, and now Jose is doing it again.

No slam against Elliot. He was great, but hell, he's dead to this world, and Jose is here with us now so let's embrace him. He's good, very good.

That's all.

I agree completely.
I bought Veneer after hearing him here on RP and I have no regrets. Great album and great artist.

I'm sensing a Great Horned Owl hooting in this song.

"A bit harsh"? That's your idea of remorse? Utterly tasteless is more like it. Time to grow up.

In re-reading this comment, it seems a bit harsh. Sorry, dude.

I still really dislike the guy's music, though.

I Love his style but I'm just about to get tired of his double-voice. Did he ever sing without multi-tracking his voice???

His voice is amazingly soft and bearing at the same time. A little more guitar virtuosity maybe?

AUGH!! You demean Elliott. This bites. . .Elliott was/is amazing.

Wait . . . do you mean Jose's dead and won't be recording anymore? I could get behind that. The more I hear, the less I like.

It was a collaboration. He sang with them on one album - The Garden. Otherwise he's not a part of the band as such.
