Was it negative or merely an observation?  Our yellow sun is indeed a G2V.

I didn't hear it all and I only ever read the comments to see what he was on about. I can't be 100% sure, but it seems that Cruithne3753 made his rather negative, but very original, comment first, which Bill then used to announce the song (after googling what the ~!@#$% it meant). Verry classy, the pair of you.

Cool stuff. Great instrumentation and well produced. I like the 'jamming in the living room' quality.

It's a good thing 5th grade science was Astronomy, or I'd have no idea what you were talking about.

Me neither, but it did grow on me. I got the album too, and it has some nice tunes on it.

I think it's a good CD. Its different enough from the white stripes. Kind of Jack White does the beatles. There's a couple great songs, a couple of silly/stupid songs, and the rest are pretty good. I'd recommend it.

I'd recommend it, too. It grows on ya.

Pretty good, anyway, in its simplicity. Beats the White Stripes for me.

Naw, I can't get past the Dylan ripoff here. Decent at best...simply nothing new.

Hey I'm really liking this!!

However, the album cover is kinda disturbing and kinda stupid; not into it. Oh well!

I have to say the same. The addition of the bass is a huge addition. But I did like Meg White on the drums, she could really hit them.

Rock N' roll lyrics dont require a PhD and a Legalese vocabulary. The simpler, the better. Rock on, Jack White!

There's something about Jack White's quirky phrasing that, after a few listens, makes me involuntarily sing along with lyrics that often make no sense... much as I do with the Flaming Lips and a few others.

This is good stuff. The transitions work well.

The picture on the cover qualifies them to rename the group as The Raccoonteurs.

The cover photograph reminds of 1982 German folk-rock album by "Ougenweide" I used to own as a teenager.
