saw muse at jillians in louisville a couple years back.. they're incredible live. back and forth from piano to shredding on the guitar to piano again. the front man is very talented.

Matt Bellamy is wicked talented. He plays all the keyboards, all the guitars, sings and does the main songwriting. Muse is definitely a guilty pleasure for me.

They are so playfully melodramatic    {#Cheers}

Plus they all have honorary Doctorates from Plymouth University- So i guess they are Dr. Bellamy, Dr.Howard, and Dr. Wolstenholme now  {#Bounce}

THANK YOU!  I could not figure that out, and it was driving me crazy.  What a shameful larceny.

I can't find words to describe how this song makes me feel better every time I hear it.

Jealous. I wish they'd come to Lexington, but I'd go see them in Louisville or Cincy if they played the right venue. Of course, you posted this in 2007...it's 2011...jeebus, they might get booked at Rupp Arena or some other shite. o_O

Gorgeous. I went to the wedding of a work colleague and after he kissed the bride and they stepped down from the chupah to greet their guests, this song blasted from the speakers. It felt instantly anthemic and familiar and has made me feel warm and fuzzy ever since.

I never realized how well I could sing along with his vocals in this one until just now... belting it out at full voice with no one around.

Plug In Baby and .. all of them are awesome.  They're toward the bottom of their main playlist there.

I am soooo dreaming of the day when I can see Muse play live.....!  They were in Seattle a few months ago, and I considered going, but alas it was at Key Arena — the acoustics suck something fierce and make every music show there a complete waste.

it's my birthday and anniversary today
and it's nothing small that my husband
is 1,000 miles away on the Bering Sea
10 years after marrying ..
... when I see the video of this song
it totally brings me right to his arms..

Love Muse ~ thank you RP for playing this ~     {#Bananapiano}{#Drummer}{#Bananajam}

 Good point, davy.  There is a theory that ideas become available in the universe and are picked up by receptive people at the same time — an example would be the nearly simultaneous "invention" of radio by Marconi, Tesla and Edison in the late 1800s.

Another way to say this is that Keane and Muse may be "channeling" some of the same information (and presenting it in the same manner.)

When I first heard this song I thought it was some new or unknown Keane song — but I like it because I like it; I don't dislike it because it sounds like another of my favorite bands (Keane.)  And by the way, Keane is a fantastic live band.  Now I'll have to watch out for Muse concerts as well.

hah, I like both Keane and Muse :) Sure, they sound similar in this song but it makes me laugh when people try to point out that "one band's song sounds like someone else's song and that it's a Huge-mongus crime." Does it matter? We could all say a lot of songs, since music first began, have been doing this, why be 'shocked/appalled' now? A little late for that...

I absolutely agree.

I'm hearing this now and thinking about how much grander the sound of it was live. Still like this studio version, but it was a much "bigger" song live.
