I think Erik Satie was probably deceased by the time this album was recorded; at the least, he was no longer doing session work..

Actually, there are probably some extended minor chords or something in this tune that have that "Satie" sound.

First he plays "Sometimes in This Country" by Crooked Still, then The Stills.  What's next: "Still the One" by Orleans?  Cole Porter's "In the Still of the Night"?  "Still" by the Commodores?

love this song. it took me a long time to find it on line 2 or 3 years ago when i first heard it (as a demo or live performance on local Seattle indy station?). it's been on playlists ever since.
