Steve Simmels, noted rock critic from Stereo Review, called Tonio K's first album the best rock album of all time. I of course bought it, and truly he wasn't far off.

That's right, Creem loved this guy. I caught the bug as well; used to play this LP and his second one all the time.

I haven't even thought of this guy in ages, much less heard his stuff. Thanks, Bill!

I remember reading about this guy in Creem magazine back in 1979. Kind of a post punk rocker...Never heard anything by him until today. It's definitely an aquired taste...
