I thought "Bluebeat" was a blanket term for all 'Jamaican' music of the early '60s: Ska, Jamaican R&B, and (later) Rocksteady.  I could be mistaken.  Cool tune, whatever it's called.

  Interesting. I had never heard of 'Blue-beat'. Gotta learn about it. But I expect, like most genres, there's a whole continuum, and there's no clear dividing line.

Awesome song, i can't believe I'm going to be playing with Cedric Im Brooks and Kevin Batchelor ..AGAIN!  No music makes you feel as good as ska and reggae does, and the Skatalites keep the music alive
