Wow. Haven't heard this guy in a dog's age! We have his Druids album kicking around the server someplace. Good in small doses, or on a lazy Sunday morning out in the forest.

As much as I love trad Irish music, the New Age variant has always made me sleepy

Wow, see, I'm going to have to be the voice of dissent. This stuff makes me want to bash my head through a plate glass window. Repeatedly.

Just. Can't. Stand. It.

Agreed. I'm a sucker for playfully delightful yet simple acoustic music with nice production values.

Not everything needs to be a groundbreaking work of musical genius, and not a whole lot is. This is soothing and stirring, and stuff like this is a big part of why I listen to RP.

Difficult to know what to think of this. It's another form of Celtic Lite music, à la Clannad, Enya, etc, and is certainly derivative of a good number of traditions and most definitely Enya in the background. Pleasant as a gentle intro to celtic music, but having the same relation to it as blended whiskey has to single malt - a mèlange of different flavours, but not a patch on the original real thing. Nice enough on the ears, but not as distinctive as it could be. A six.

I'm with you but add - derivative mush - would rather go and see Liverdance with Michael Flatulence if I had the choice or eat a whole Baboon in one sitting with fries than listen to this too much....ooops, I felt a rant coming on.

Oh yes, RP please continue with those acoustic colours... Great! Rated 9.

Hmmm, weird semi soothinggrating and the jacket art odd, yes just like someone walked into the photo at the wrong time!

This would be really great stuff, if it was played by a real orchestra. The Keyboard sounds are... not too good:)
