I can't believe this album is almost 10 years old now! It still sounds really fresh to me.

After hearing Gotye here a while ago, I bought this cd. It is a great album. Also bear in mind it is the work of one man, unsigned, and doing all the writing, playing all the instruments and mixing and releasing it himself. Quite an achievement I think and well worth considering when evaluating this piece.

Anyway, I often email artists if I like their stuff and did so to him. . . he mailed back and we had a bit of a chat. He seems a top bloke and is about to release another cd he has been slaving over.

So. If you like this, go and buy a copy and help keep an artist in funds, I think he deserves it.

Wally also emailed me when I ordered this cd several years ago. He's incredibly creative.

Great song indeed, special. Also take a listen at "Somebody that I used to know" from the album "Making Mirrors.

when I first heard that song being played on the radio, I swore Peter Gabriel released a new album. This song "Coming Back" does not sound Gabrielish though.

Gotye is growing on me

Fun vibe. Should be a movie soundtrack - opening credits. Silly detective story.

Ha !  Not really, though.  My joy comes not from Stave's sadness, but from the song itself.  I'd be even happier if he/she liked the song too, but I can't change that...

That's how Steven Wilson got his start. Singing all the songs, writing all the music, everything. It is on "The Sunday of Life".

Go figure. Now his an international Pop Star and Lead singer of Porcupine Tree.

I like Gotye. Friend turned me on to them at a party a couple of weeks ago. Nice sound!

I have bought two of his tracks. He strikes me as a very interesting and multifaceted artist. The tango rhythm and intensity+urgency of this tune is captivating. {#Devil_pimp}

In the beginning of this song,,, I thought Spock and Kirk were battling on Vulcan for a minute or two there.

Completely agree, and I continue to insist that she is not coming back to that keening.  She's probably boffing Michael Bublé or something.

Not one of my personal favorites from this CD.

There's enough good stuff on it to make it worth buying, though.
