Nanci Griffith did do a cover of this tune on her Other Voices, Other Rooms album.  Good song.

Funny how some dogs have better hearing than their master's speakers.

in that vein, this guy did a collaboration with Art Garfunkel (and Maia Sharp) in 2002 called "Everything Waits to be Noticed" that is a very nice recording.    I highly recommend it.

This was one of her weekends home and she's packing so I can take her back to the airport in a few hours. What timing and what perfection for us today. Are you in our basement Bill?

Bill's in everyone's basement. Much appreciate this upload. It's what I needed to get me through today.
