VERY, VERY unfortunate news for Sharon Jones fans, I'm afraid:

They are so terrific! Would you believe, they couldn't get a company to sign them? Better for them, they formed their own company and make the music that they want to make.

Saw them in person, and they were fantastic, and the little old lady that opened for them was amazing.

What a great track from such an amazing modern artist. Nobody sounds like this anymore, you gotta hand it to Sharon Jones for holding true to a solid sound in today's autotune-drenched, music environment.

She was pretty much the most awesome thing ever live. Look her up and get to a show.

Great Stuff!

My wife and I saw Sharon and the Dap Kings last summer; great show, tight band, and very high energy and vocals from Miss Sharon.

Good example of something I'd so much rather hear live than hear here. Here x2. Oh well...you get my drift. {#Bananajam}

Don't be, I'm not!  She might be a pain, but she's worth it.

I'm one of those strange people that actually like their spouse.

This is an excellent CD and her most recent one, that came out last year, is also very good (can't remember the name of it offhand, "The Hard Way," maybe....)

Yeah...  that was a good idea.  Marry an emotional chick with a degree in communication.  That way, even if I do win the argument, I still lose...  Ah well, she's worth it.

Don't do an Amy Winehouse on us, Sharon.  Very enjoyable.
