Outstanding recording.   Both from a performance and technical perspective.

You could share this with Keef: he would understand spilling—ahem—a father's ashes.

This might sound bizarre, but I actually spilled some of my step-father-in-laws ashes today.  I Swear to God, I would only share this with you RP listeners, since it wouldn't be appropriate with anyone else I know of......{#Cheers}

I've got the triple CD version.  Like a lot of artist, Bowie packaged his old live in the studio BBC performances - which is great stuff.

And then he added this recent live concert.

Definitely worth the money.

Here is a quarter - go buy a clue my friend'.

This is an absolutely brilliant latter day version of what was a fantastic pop rock tune by DB.

Never forget being in London when this hit #1 on all the juke boxes.

So much better than "Fame" (which was played maybe 2 hours ago).  As many have said, the bassline is great (not all-time, though, people, let's stay real!), but this song makes the icemang Top 1000.

Ooh, I like this live version. Especially that one guitar meandering around in the background (in my right speaker) that I'd never noticed before—-and perhaps wasn't on the studio version/played the same on the studio version.

Yes, indeed...some of the best and funkiest bass action ever in a song!  (Both the Scary Monsters and this version seem to jam equally well in such regard.) George Murray, you really ROCKED it, for sure!  And I can't help but remember that shockingly SURREAL video from way back when...
