I'd say "Every step you take" by the Police belongs to the creepy stalker song subgenre as well.

Immediately bought the album based on this, was not disappointed. Great discovery. Thank you, Bill and Rebecca.

I love how this song builds and builds and builds, and then ends with a good thrashing!!! {#Clap}

it's what got me hooked. now i like pretty much everything they've put out. takes a while sometimes...but this was an instant like.

What? Are you kidding? Coldplay doesn't have anything with the brilliance of this intro.

Where is grunge when we need it ? I don't believe there is any truth to the story
these guys were boxed up and mailed to Cambodia. {#Beat}

Intro is reminiscent of Cold Play. Love the music but the lyrics of DCC are weak.

It's probably because I play the bass, but I like the long intro.

I bumped from 5 > 7. Getting used to the 36-minute intro. Gives me a chance to boil the kettle or something before we get into things.

YES.

This is what drew me to the band. There is NO rush to satisfy the 3 minute norm. Like "Hey Jude" or "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" it just defines the groove and sits there comfortably.

I agree with this completely.

I like the long lead in, but the lyrics are truly banal within this context.

Bill, I first heard Death Cab For Cutie here on Radio Paradise when their first album came out years ago and became a huge fan. Saw them at the Hollywood Bowl which was an incredible concert.  Thanks for schooling me.  {#Dancingbanana}{#Bananajam}I only listened to Classic Rock until I found RP.

I really like this song, but I prefer The Postal Service (a Ben Gibbard side project).  Any chance of hearing "Such Great Heights"?

Love the extended mix of this. . .that long instrumental intro makes the vocals come in with an awesome bang.
