horstmann:  Got the Anaesthetize DVD.  Wow!  What an amazing concert.

Thinking of Buying New Soul ....  doesn't PT do acoustic guitars and synthesizers better than just about anybody else?

Get the new SW "Get All You Deserve" DVD. It's fantastic! I've been watching it about once a day since I bought it.
I missed all you guys!          {#Jump}

I uploaded a few Marillion songs and Bill shot them down immediately.  I don't think he likes them.

While this live version is good, the studio version (available on Recordings) is even better.

Absolutely LOVE this DVD!  I bought a new 55" LED and it's become an almost nightly ritual to watch either this or the Anesthetize BluRay.  What a great band...looking forward to seeing them live at some point.

First listen. It's been said below, but bears repeating. I was introduced to this band here on RP. Haven't heard a single song that dipped into the "bleh" category. I'm in my 50s, and at times, it gets a little loud and zany for me; but overall, PT's sound is captivating.

What amazed me as I looked around the audience at a PT show was the age spectrum.  From early teens to the 'older' crowd like ourselves, and everything in between.

I've seen them once at the Vic in 2003, and 3 (possibly 4, I can't remember) times at Park West. Park West was a better venue by far IMO...

And now after seeing the Riv show and the Vic show for this tour I can definitively say I think you are right. The sound in the Riv was the least impressive of the three venues IMO.

But these guys could play in a steel shed and it would still be fantastic.

They did this as the second song on the second set, right after the Start of Something Beautiful. It was a very moving piece of music. Steven really loves to play the acoustic guitar and integrate into their sound. And Richard Barbieri's synthesizers added so much to the abiance of the song.

Great concert. Can't wait to go again but I feel it will be another couple of years before that happens.

Unless I go to Radio City this fall.

This was fantastic live this fall. It wasn't in the set for their return this spring.

Radio City?! Just what I need, another way to spend money...

Cool that RP is playing live cuts from this DVD. PT's performance of "Even Less" is just incredible.

They have a new DVD in the can. Looking forward to that coming out.
