very nice track, quite different from the tracks of her previous, kinda sad album. Talented! I just don't get the negative ratings, probably ppl like their peace inside their tiny musical boxes ... |

I think so, too! Quirky and fun and upbeat. |

I *hate* judging singers by their looks, but wow - this woman is stunning. She did a glorious track with Thievery Corporation on one of the Hotel Costes albums a few years back called 'Heaven's Gonna Burn Your Eyes", and a track for the 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' TV series called 'Summerbreeze' - both quite, quite beautiful. Great voice (not to mention eyes you could drown in. ::sigh:: )

Probably the most childish music I've heard on RP. And yes, I'm including Manu Chao.

This is cute, why all the hate? Edit: Not that this has bearing on the quality of the music for better or worse, but upon browsing the photo gallery on the artist's site I feel compelled to mention that I would do things to this woman. Unspeakable things, things that would probably get us arrested in most jurisdictions. I won't go into details because children might be reading, but seriously. THINGS, man. |

I love Fridays on RP. Where does Bill come up with this stuff? This is weird, but in a good way. However, I wouldn't want to listen to this more than once in a while.

Very cool tune ... you can't go wrong with the Bo Diddley 3-2 clavet, even at Warp 6 like this. |

yes, the song 'Ticka Ticka Ta'. Sheila Chandra is brilliant. |
