Surely you jest (And DON'T call me "Shirley!") This is just awesome in major ways... Fun, silly, energetic, and definitely dance-worthy. You were kidding, right? |

For once I disagree with Fred, perhaps as I am getting bored with irish band music, seems to be teh vogue at the moment, only a 5 or 6. Went to school with one of the founders of the Pogues, too.

Craic mòr! Like the Pogues but with a tuneful singer. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

Saw them on Wednesday for St. Patty's day yet again (fourth year in a row). I don't know why they insist on spending it in Phoenix, but they're the ultimate in March 17th enjoyment.

These guys and the Pogues are my two favorites. The others, eh ... not so much. BTW, "flogging" is an Irish slang for a "session," a musical one, as it were. I remember hearing my Irish grandmum and grandpop also call it a "lashing."

What a great way to start my morning in the office! If you have never seen Flogging Molly, do! They put on an amazing show. I wonder if my Pre-K students would like this!!

it was a sheer joy to see these folks in a pouring rain at the ACL fest a couple weeks back. So much happy energy!

Ok RadioP, You've played Flogging Molly, Ashley MacIsaac and the Waterboys...time to add BOILED IN LEAD!!! They started that whole trend of Celtic-Folk-Rock back in the 90s I think. Still the best!

I'd have bet good money that this was the Pogues. Being Pogues-ish, I like it, but it's a little TOO close for me to credit them with much originality.
