Derek & Tedeschi Trucks Band - Midnight In Harlem, Live
June 26, 2010, Toyota Park, Bridgeview, IL. On tour with a revamped lineup, Derek and Susan played at The Crossroads Guitar Festival. Included in their set was this original, written by vocalist Mike Matteson. In 2010, The Derek Trucks Band announced a hiatus, and Mike Mattison joined the new group, Tedeschi Trucks Band, as a backing vocalist and songwriter. One of his compositions, "Midnight in Harlem," appears on the DVD release of Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010. "Oh wow this is incredible. Sometimes I forget that people are still making good music." ronian12 "I was there at the Crossroads festival that day. What a fantastic music experience. With all the great names there, Tedeshi Trucks band was the biggest surprise for me. This song especially was just perfect during the early evening. Fantastic job! " rickgsoldo |

SUCH a good rendition of this song! I have GOT to get this CD, and then bite the bullet and suffer through Susan Tedeschi's vocals to get to Trucks' guitar wizardry...

Yes, you're right... that's what it is now... but you can still join that Derek Trucks Band community, I think... I need to update and see what else is available now... I agree with you about the song!!
