I like it. Has a laid back jazz feel.

Great voice, nice music. I'm actually happy that the world appreciates her talent and retro sound. Me? I'm already so retro at my age that I listen to RP to try and stay young and here the new stuff so RP plays Madeleine and othere retro stuff too much for my tastes. I didn't apprecaite Billy Holiday anyway. Oh, heck, sorry for being negative. Just please "don't play it again, Sam !"

What a segue.... Taj Mahal & Chieftans — a Black Beauty ...to Marilyn Peyroux.— a little white sleeper. My body can't take the gyrations....

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Sorry, what? I dozed off there. Don't know exactly why, but Madeleine does nothing for me. Not good, not bad, just dull. Though my opinion doesn't seem to be hurting her career any. |

Great Comment! I'm sure your money is safe. I live in Canada, and even with the fairly eclectic music the CBC plays, I hadn't heard of her before Radio Paradise. |

A double programme on BBC4 (TV) last night, the first was about her life and how she got to Paris and sung on the streets and trains right up to date, second part was her concert in Los Angeles.
It can be seen again on the BBC's iPlayer. Well worth a watch.
