The song provides its own summary:
"At first I find it funny but now it's just annoying"

Is it just me, or does the main riff sound like Stone's jumpin' Jack Flash?

ziggytrix wrote: If that were true then every song would have the lyrics:
La la la la la la la la la la la La la la la la la la la la la la La la la la la la la la la la la La la la la la la la la la la la . . . . and I would hate all non-instrumentals!
On the other hand, this could be sung in a foreign language and it would still be just as cool. |

I know what you mean. The vocals remind me a little of The Association (i.e. "Along Comes Mary"). |

These guys have a great sound. I like the self-aware start to the lyrics: "I look like a loser". But I bet he isn't a loser |

I'm glad Bill keeps this in the playlist despite its somewhat low-ish rating (5.9 at time of writing this). SFA are a great band and this is a grower, as is the whole album it's taken from. I have just re-discovered "Hey Venus" as well after not listening to it a lot when it came out. I really hope SFA will stay around for a while.

A bizarre album—there's this gem and an awful lot of stuff that's reminiscent of the self-indulgent hippie discs of the late '60s. Strong stomach and equally strong sense of the absurd required.
